As an AI Workflow Designer at Indeed Innovation, you will bridge AI, automation, and design to help our team work smarter and more sustainably. You will maintain and grow a set of live internal tools, build workflows that save time and create insight, and bring a hands-on, experimental mindset to everything you do.

- Technically literate enough to know what str, int, and [ ] stand for, even if you have never written a full program.
- A fast learner who stays curious about the evolving AI and no-code/low-code landscape.
What you’ll do
- Build, maintain, and improve automated workflows using n8n, connecting internal systems, APIs, and AI models.
- Develop and iterate on AI-assisted internal tools and lightweight apps that help the team deliver better work for clients.
- Design and refine prompts for LLM-powered workflows, internal tools, and client-facing applications.
- Identify and prototype opportunities to automate repetitive processes across project delivery, marketing, and operations.
- Support the integration of AI tools into design, research, and strategy projects across the team.
- Document and maintain internal tools so they remain accessible and understandable to the whole team.
- Research and evaluate new tools, recommending what is worth adopting and experimenting with.
- Collaborate in innovation workshops and cross-functional projects where digital and AI methods add value.
Experience and Qualifications
Must have
- Hands-on experience with n8n or a comparable workflow automation platform (Make, Zapier, or similar).
- Solid understanding of prompt engineering and working with LLMs such as ChatGPT or Claude.
- Ability to connect APIs, work with webhooks, and understand how web services communicate.
- Comfort with AI-assisted development: able to use tools like Claude Code or Cursor to build and iterate on working prototypes without a formal software engineering background.
- Strong documentation habits: you write things down so others can understand and build on your work.
- Proficiency in English (German is a plus).
- A valid work permit for Germany is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python and/or JS, even basic scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate or the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience with Streamlit or similar tools for building lightweight internal apps.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or CRM automation tools.
- A background or genuine interest in sustainability, circular economy, or design.
