The New Climate
The New Climate is an eight-week decentralized online conference on ecological intelligence and inclusive tech for a life-centered economy.
This is the end of the human-centered era—but that doesn’t have to be the end of us. Not if we can seize this moment to begin relinquishing the idea of being the center of the universe, associated toxic ideas of exploiting and extracting the natural world, and shift instead towards societies—and economies— that honor and support all living systems—including human life itself.
How can Western societies become more attuned to nature again? Whose stories should we be listening to? How will we reckon with the inherent dilemma of net-positive goals, impact metrics, and ESG investing amid neoliberal economics? And how might more inclusive tech enable climate-positive and regenerative business and innovation?
Brought to you by the House of Beautiful Business in partnership with INDEED Innovation and Gryphon Agency, it will take place on March 10 – May 5, 2023; the participation is free.
The New Climate follows a weekly rhythm.
At the beginning of each week, you’ll receive a compact email with the latest and greatest, including the upcoming live online sessions, on-demand content, and other updates.
The live sessions will be on Zoom every Wednesday or Thursday at 5–6 p.m. CET
