Along with Tim Leberecht (author of ‘The Business Romantic’) and a few more partners-in-crime, we are co-producing The House of Beautiful Business—a special pop-up community devoted to harnessing and strengthening human technology, and a collaboration platform for those who live to create beautiful things. It will explore one key question: As machines do our jobs more efficiently, how can we do our work more beautifully?

The House of Beautiful Business will take place in La Casa de la Seda (The House of Silk), an 18th-century guild house in the heart of Barcelona. In addition to its stunning architectural and artistic value, it offers various spaces and meeting rooms that will become the stage for two full days of unique programming.

From 8 am to midnight, from breakfasts to dinner conversations, the House of Beautiful Business will feature hands-on workshops, philosophical debates, and lectures; music and art performances; special encounters and surprising insights—and beautiful networking. There will also be a film studio and a library. All sessions are invite-only and free.

You will meet business and nonprofit leaders, designers and technologists, founders and investors, philosophers and scientists, jesters and musicians. Together, we’ll work on making business more beautiful: by building human-centered organizations and workplace cultures; by leading with purpose and passion in a time of anger and populism; and by creating beautiful products, services, and experiences.

So come on and join us in Barcelona!
