Recap: Fireside Chat September 2018

The triangle of design, art and technology is the ideal place to discuss and spend the evening together. Many thanks to Minjoo Cho, Roman Lipski and Christian "Mio" Loclair. Your lectures made the evening special.

On the last Thursday evening in September there was a lot going on in Hamburg: innovation roundtable, TEDx, beginning of the FilmFest Hamburg, party at the neighbors etc. That's why we were particularly pleased that on September 27th, so many friends, clients, colleagues and new faces found their way into the BlueRoom. For those who could not attend, below is a very brief summary:

Roman is an artist. An artist who lives for and from his work. All the more exciting was the insight into his studio and his everyday work with the first digital muse:

Unfinished- The First Artificial Muse in the World of Art

Mio is a multi-talent. Dance, art, technology and a high aesthetic standard flow into his work. In his lecture, he showed various works that combine all this and question the known patterns of perception.

Narciss is an uncovered robot, exposed to describe his thoughts while looking at himself.

Our in-house Creative Technologist, Minjoo Cho, was responsible for launching the evening. Her dedicated blog post on art/technology/design and how that involves Apollo and Dionysus is here.

More information about the speakers can be found in the earlier event announcement.
